The TAO Institute is a center of learning, a new kind of community school. It offers a full spectrum of classes, speakers, and seminars on fine arts, the healing arts, self development and spiritual and cultural growth.
The TAO Institute gives teachers & students the opportunity to develop the art of living, to connect with themselves and one another and express that connection creatively. Everyone shares, learns, listens, develops and expresses their potential and creativity, both as individuals and as a group. The Institute embraces all the senses and all modes of learning.
  The Institute offers a wide variety of classes, seminars and special events. We host visiting artists and speakers covering many of life’s arts. Our teachers and speakers come from many professions. They are authors, religious leaders (from both the Eastern and Western traditions), scientists, philosophers, business leaders, and artists of many different disciplines. The Institute also offers regular courses in fine arts, healing arts, self-development, and a variety of paths of spiritual and cultural growth. We see each of our individual lives to be the true masterpiece that each one of us is creating. All of our classes are taught by instructors of the highest quality who are passionate about what they are sharing. We are very proud of our teachers.
 
The Institute encourages the artist in all of us to create a new way of being in the world, full of a willingness to learn and to be surprised, to live with playfulness, creativity, purpose and meaning. The art of living allows us to create our lives, to follow our dreams and succeed at being ourselves.
