Reiki is a healing art originating in Tibet
and rediscovered in Japan. The Usui System
of natural healing opens an individual to
the natural life force. The First Degree is
meant to reconnect us with our own physical
form. It is a structured ground work for the
"Usui System of Natural Healing' and
includes the attunements or energy activations
which enable the student to channel the Reiki
energy for the rest of their life. The student
is shown the hand placements for the whole
body that can be used on oneself and others.
